WHAT TO EXPECT & TREATMENT APPROACH
In your first session, you and Madison will explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. Madison often uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to rapidly process trauma. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she will help you identify and change the connections between your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. With Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), she will teach you how to address tough emotions in a more positive way.
